for 8 years my only problems were caused by not reading the instructions carefully. don't throw them out. now it is starting to act up. possibly battery leakage or just old. outdoor sensor was usually out of direct rain. very accurate with GOOOD batteries. more features than I need. difficult programing is only draw back. telephone help was excellent.

If this unit gets wet it is all over until it drys out. Not saying that I left it in pouring rain but it is pretty finicky They should design a little outside house it can stay under.....

This was bought as an add-on unit for my weather station that can handle up to three different sensors (I think). I wanted a sensor to monitor my crawl space where I have a dehumidifier and a new insulation job.

This unit powered up and behaved exactly as the instructions explained.

I only gave 4 stars because for some reason the manufacturers made a weather sensor that is apparently not weather proof. You have to keep these out of the sun and rain...These are not sun or rain sensors, but most people wont understand and not be happy with this fact.

I was thinking about getting another one but now it looks like they may be unavailable...I hope not discontinued.
